What Causes Welts On Chest, Waist And Back?

Yes Hello, I m taking a few medications and now I ve been given IC KLOR-CON 10 MEQ. I m getting welt like hives, that start itching first, then the welt appears. They are appearing at different spots, chest, waist, back, stomach. Only one or two in that area. Is this an allergy?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having urticaria.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months.
2. Don't take any medication without consulting a doctor as it may worsen the condition.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 2 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, steroids taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
