Had Yeast Infection, Cured. On Antibiotic For Infected Belly Button Cleared. Little Bitter Taste. Is It Normal?

Hi I recently had a yeast infection that I had a very hard time getting rid of.. I had to use monasts 3 times to get it cleared up. Its gone now, it has been 10 years since I have had an infection so this really sucked. I was on an antibiotic for an infected belly button percing so I contributed it to that. Now that its cleared up my husband told me I taste a little bitter is this normal? Is there anyway I can change this?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Bad taste in mouth could be due to many reasons, most common being poor oral hygiene, gum problems, yeast infections in mouth or dental caries. I suggest you maintain good oral hygiene by brushing teeth twice a day, regular dental checkups, antibacterial mouth rinses can be used. Thanks.
