My mum has had a fall sat evening and as a result has a hairline fracture at top of right arm. She hasn't been very well today and have just taken bp and pulse with machine 99/61 and bp 109 She has A F, angina and dementia. She seem more confused than usual and diet and fluid intake not too good today. Due to return to fracture clinic tomorrow. Should I be concerned about bp and pulse reading YYYY@YYYY
Hey. Thanks for writing at HCM. These are some alarming signs and I'd suggest you to take her to a hospital. She is getting delirious now which could be because of the fracture or the poor health and other medical conditions she has. How much is her urine output since morning? Take her bp and pulse regularly. Intravenous fluids need to be started on her ASAP if BP keeps falling. Just be careful and take care of her.
