Hard Lump Below Pectoral Muscle. Chest X-ray And Mammogram Clear. Family History Of Breast Cancer. What Is It?

Hi,
I have a hard lump, pill sized just below my left pectoral muscle to the left of the sternum.
the lump sits below my fat and above my rib.
I just had chest X-ray and Mamogram, both clear.
I am 50 yr old male, both my parents had breast cancer so I believe that's why I was tested.
What if anything could appear hard nodule like as per nurse?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A hard lump that you have described with no abnormality on chest X-ray is likely to be due to a soft tissue swelling like a fibroma or a lymph node swelling. An FNAC will help in diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
