Dear mohan I understand your feelings.Mohan you must try to save the tooth thereforey suggestion to you is that you go for RCT,it is a simple procedure under local anesthesia. If the child is very anxious sometimes a preanesthetic medication is given orally to calm him down,so dont worry go ahead.

hello & welcome
acc. to symptoms, your son is suffering from some periapical infection.
Mode of treatment is the same as prescribed by your dentist but as he is very young so it will be very difficult to do any of these.
secondly even roots are not completed at this age so even RCT is tough.
usually for very young child conscious sedation is given along with local anaesthesia, so you don't worry for that.
thanks & take care

Hi,
Thank you for the query.
I suggest you to go for rootcanal treatment instead of removal as the teeth should be present as a space maintainer till the permanent central insicors erupt. As you child is 2+yrs old definitely the child wont be able to cooperate for the treatment , so in such cases the treament is performed under general anesthesia instead of local anesthesia. See a pedodontist for best treatment plan.
Hope this information helps you.
