Has Anybody Undergone Angiogram Test

My father in law is going for a angiogram test to find a block in the arteries to the heart.How is it.Is it safe?How about the pain?and after effects?

It is a straight forward procedure and very safe. The only pain which your father in law will experience is when the local anaesthetic is being injected, after that he should not feel anything. Depending on how they seal up the puncture wound will depend on how long he will stay in hospital - but he should be home by the following day at the latest. Most of the patients ive spoken to after the procedure have said it was over very quickly and were suprised at how comfortable it was.
