Have PID, Endometrial Polyp, Fibroademates. Taking Evion, Candidtral. Correct Treatment?
hi, i am suffering from pid with endometrial polyp and also having fibroademates. i am 29 yrs old. my dr is giving me evion n candidtral, emanzen d and zyatic and doxy dr also. earlier she has given azee n evion. am i taking correct treatment? and she advised me to remove the polyp as soon as possible. please suggest me what to do as i dont want any kind of problem when i plan for a baby.

Although most uterine polyps are benign, malignant changes can occur in the polyps and that's why your Dr has advised for immediate removal. If the polyps are small and without symptoms, they may resolve on its own but if they are big and symptomatic, they need to be removed.
Your medications are in the right direction but taking medicines is only a short term solution and surgical removal is the best option as symptoms may resolve once you stop the medications. D&C can scrape the polyp. In case of multiple polyps Hysteroscopic removal is done.
Fibromyomas are known to increase in size during pregnancy and during oral contraceptives use. As you are only 29 yours old, it is better to opt for removal of polyp and fibroadenoma to prevent further complications.
