Have A Late Period. Pregnancy Test Is Negative With A Faint Line. Slight Bleeding Seen. Pregnant?

Hi,
My period was due on the 8th of May. It come until today (16/5/13) so I am very late. Have done a couple of pregnancy test all came out negative only one came out with a very very faint line and that was the first test done on the 12/5/13. My period is very light. I only know I am bleeding when I wipe and it is a light red. what does this mean

hello,

First of all, you need to undergo one blood test for beta-hcg and TVS scan to rule out conception or other underlying pathology. Early pregnancy test is less reliable.

Other reasons are hormonal imbalance, stress, irregular diet habit, over wt, psychological factors etc. Relevant investigations may be needed after consultation with your gynecologist.
