Have Acute Anxiety And Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Menopausal. What Can Help Me?

I have aqute anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder. I was wondering if there is a supplement or something other than a prescription medication to help me get this under control. I am a 51 year old female going through menopause and it seems like the menopause is intensifying these problems. I can't sleep and I keep reliving past abuse issues.

Post menopausal stress disorders are normal. Metabolic, hormonal chnges triggers such strress disorder along with un necessary worries. I would like to know who diagnosed your stress as PTSD. Was there any psychological test done to confirm?

It is better to believe that you just have stress disorder until concrete diagnosis is made. Such stress disorders are quite normal. About 60% of female post menopause are suffering from stress disorders. They overcome this by indulging in engrossing activitie.

You will also cured in the span of about two years. Just be patient and watch.

Wish you speedy recovery.
