Have An Abscess Due To Pain, Swelling, Painful, Numbing And Tingling In Lips. On Cipro. Why The Swelling?

I tHink I have an abcess becAuse the pAin in my jaw arOund my broken tooth is SEVERE but now I also have numbness and Tingling In my bottom lip on left side with swelling. In a lot of pAin. What is it and what can I do? And I've already been on cipro for a uti so how could I get an infection .its also REALLY WARM to the touch with viSible swelling

Hello,
Abscessed tooth has to be treated as early as possible.
Root canal treatment or extraction of tooth has to be done depending on severity of lesion.
Take complete course of antibiotics.
Abscess has to be drained and curetted completely.
Maintain oral care.
Gargle using chlorhexidine mouthrinses.
Take care.
