Have Benign Nodule On Thyroid. Healthy Body And Lifestyle. Which Option Partial Thyroidectomy Or RAI Treatment Suggested?

I have a benign nodule on thyroid..I have a choice of partial thyroidectomy or RAI treatment because it's making me very hyperthyroidism. My concern is I am very fit and eat healthy..What are my chances of my other half of thyroid picking up workload if I do surgery. I want to try to avoid having go on Synthroid, etc if possible

RAI wont be of much avail in a benign non functioning nodule. Hemithyroidectomy is definitely the best option. You could very well avoid taking synthroid by this procedure.
