Have Bitter Taste In Mouth, Nausea, Chest Discomfort. Taking Esmeprazole, Lesuride. Side Effects?
Hello doctor, I am having symptoms of GERD. Having bitter taste in the mouth. Had nausea and discomfort at d chest which hs gone nw. Bt bitter taste persists. I m taking esomeprazole 40mg twice daily. Doc hs prescribed lesuride 25 mg 3 times a day. I m little scared to start it reading aboutits side effects. Pls advice.
Lesuride is used is GERD and dyspepsia. It has a prokinetic effect which means it affects the movement of the bowel.
All medication have potential side effects that may or may not occur. The potential side effects of lesuride are breast enlargement, changes in libido, absence of menstrual period, fatigue, headache.
You may not experience any of the side effects.
