Have Bleeding After Intercourse, Headache. Done With Periods. Underlying Cause
Hi..
My boyfriend and had protected sex 5 days ago. A day after our intercourse, I started bleeding like having menstruation. But I had my period two weeks before our we had sex. I usually have my period at the last week of every month. I am also experiencing headaches until today. what could possibly be the reason for this?

There are many causes of post coital bleeding.
It may be due to pathology in uterus or cervix,Infection,Trauma etc.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Ultrasound of pelvis can exclude many conditions.
Headache may be post coital but it doesn't persist so long.You may take tablet paracetamol (500mg) SOS.
You should consult your doctor.

It can be a trauma from sex also.So if not stopping you should better have a pervaginal examination with your gyaenecologist.Hope this may help you
