I have been suffering from a skin disease for months. I have red blotches all over my body and it continues to grow to all parts of my body. It itches. I have seen a dermatologist for months. He has taken several biopsies and has told me it s due to infected hair follicules. I have been using Clobetasol for the last 4 months. It does take away the itching, somewhat, but it continues to grow in more areas. Please help.
It seems that you may be having erythematous patches and plaques on different parts of the body. You are having itching. And it is of long duration. Steroid cream improves the condition. All this history suggest that you may be having atopic dermatitis or contact allergic dermatitis. You may take oral steroids in tappering dose. And take antihistaminics like levocetirizine. And apply steroid cream to all affected areas. Find out the allergens and avoid them to prevent the disease. I hope you may be benefitted.
Thanks.
