Have Bright Red Blood In Corner Of Eye. Suffering From Chronic Migraine. What Is The Problem?

i wake up each morning and notice that i have bright red blood in the corner of each eye. i do suffer from chronic migraines and they have been bad lately due to the change in weather/barometric pressure and stress (husband has stage 4 cancer ). Does this warrant a ER visit for a CT scan to determine if this is serious, or a referral for a CT scan from my physician if not a time sensitive issue or a Ophthalmologist related issue. This has been occuring for approximately 7-10 days now.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi, sometimes due to migraine there may be congestion in your eyes which causes redness.Since there is a change in weather and stress your migraine gets precipitated.Sometimes the small capillaries may break causing subconjunctival haemorrhage. Nothing to worry as such.Just keep a watch. If it is increasing in size pls go to an ophthalmologist. It will resolve in 2-3 weeks. You can use Acular LS drops/ ketorolac drops 3-4 times a day if it hurts...TC
