Have Broke Metatarsal. When Walking Fall Easily. Now Injured Again. Now Burning Sensation, Coldfoot. Cure For Symptoms?
hello my name is Jeremy and I am writing because last year I broke my 5th metatarsal and it seem to have hild fine although there were a couple of complications due to walking on it too soon and falling on it, after it healed and it was good for about five once I reach injured it from jumping, its injured in a totally separate spot and now I am experiencing burning sensation as well as I have experienced cold calf Coldfoot and along with red foot, originally this symptoms did not take place and now I am concerned that it may be a sign of gangrene or the beginning stages of dry gangrene. what do you think?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The symptoms that you are having could be related to a bone injury and the involvement of nerve fibers in the fractured fragments. You need to get an X-ray done and proper immobilization. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
