Have Burning, Numbness And Pins And Needles In Legs. MRI Showed White Matter Foci. Meaning?
I have burning, numbness is my legs constant and pins and needles in my handsand feet occasionally. I also have cognitive issues, bladder issues and extreme fatigue and increased motion sickness . My MRI shows scattered nonspecific white mater foci could represent microvascular ischemic changes or etiology could include migraines (which I don t have), vascular disease ( I m only 38) and demyelinating processes. Can u tell me what all this means please
I understand that it is tough to deal with all the symptoms that you have been lately dealing with - numbness in your legs, constant pins and needles sensation, burning sensation, fatigue, cognitive and bladder issues and motion sickness. I can attribute this to what we call "Multiple Sclerosis". It is a common condition that shows up with your MRI changes mentioned above. I recommend that you see a qualified neurologist to help arrest the spread of the disease and make your life better. I strongly suggest that you visit with a neurologist immediately.
I hope this helps. Take care.
