Have Burning Sensation In Stomach. On Medication. Have Inflammation Of The Intestines. What To Do?

I have, or had, inflammation of the intestines, I was prescribed buscopan and omeprazole. I take one omeprazole in the morning. And 2x Buscopan 2-3 times a day.

I've had this issue for about 4-5 days now. My current symptoms are as follows:

Dull burning sensation 5 minutes after taking buscopan, then the burning goes away and my stomach seems to respond to the medication, but I still have a lingering dull ache. Almost feels the same as when you're hungry.

I went from eating a lot, to barely anything in such little time that I think my stomach maybe shrinking which is what I'm feeling.

My stools still smell a little mucussy, and are slightly discoloured. Seems to go from dark yellow to dark orange/tinge ofbrown depending on whether what I've digested was eaten recently or not.

My main questions are:
- How long will it take for the mucussy stools to subside?
The consistency seems normal, with the occasional knot of mucus.
- How long after the symptoms subside should I stop taking the medication?
Today I tried not taking buscopan, I was fine until about 5 hours after dinner and my stomach was growling, so I took some more buscopan to ease the nausea and dull pain.
- This illness has also caused my sleeping pattern to switch on its head, I either get a couple of hours sleep at a time, or I'm up all night and don't sleep till the next day. What can I do to improve my sleeping patten whilst feeling like this?
My eyes are so sore with lack of sleep! My skin is all blotchy and excessively sweaty/greasy, even after washing my hands, I just want sleep!
- And finally, what are the best foods to eat on an empty stomach?
I can't seem to rid myself of this empty stomach feeling either, even if I eat and "hit the wall" my stomach feels empty like I am hungry, but I have absolutely no appetite what so ever. I just eat for function when I'm ill.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
