Have Delay In Periods. Had Unprotected Sex Earlier. Pregnancy Test Resulted Negative. Can This Be Pregnancy?

Hi, i am 4 days late for my period, I have always been on time with them an odd day here and there, but me and my partner have decided to try for another baby 2months ago. Last month i was also 4 days late and i thought i was pregnant. I have taken a few tests which are all neg. I am experiencing lower left aches in my back and groin just wondering if this is due to my late period or if im possibly in early stages of pregnancy?

hello,

Generally, period date may be delayed up to 7 days. Here, you need to wait few more days and repeat the home pregnancy test. Blood test for beta HCG is more reliable to rule out the same.

If you do not get your period after 7 days, you need to consult with gynecologist for relevant investigation & next line management.

Take healthy diet with iron supplements, drink more water, avoid stress/ tension, keep bowel habit regular and take sound sleep.

Good luck.
