I am 8 or 9 weeks pregnant and for a few weeks i have had difficulty swallowing. i can eat fine but when im not eating its very hard to swallow and sometimes it seems as if my throat forgot how and i have to try very hard several times before i can swallow.

I read your query and it appears you may be having acid reflux and due to that you have little difficulty is swallowing. this is common in pregnancy. you can start antacid gel two tea spoon full- two to three times daily . it is safe in pregnancy. avoid excessive tea or coffee and spicy food.
