This is my first month on met and I'm on day 39 and no signs of my period. I've only had the (Runs) as a side effects of metformin but since last week I've had frequent dizziness and very tiered. Please help, should I go back to my GYN or just keep waiting for my AF. I'm not scheduled to go back until my period starts to get a medication that will increase my ovulation. O and I for got I had mid cycle spotting brownish for 2 days. Thanks in advance for any replies.
If you had unprotected intercourse around the middle of the month, once go for pregnancy test. If the test comes negative, once consult gynecologist. PCOS can present with menstrual irregularities like delayed periods, amenorrhea, anovulation etc. So after consulting you go for tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding. Then you can start drugs for ovulation induction with your doctor's advice. For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429 Take care.
