Have Fever After A Fall. Had A Fall Earlier. Is Fever Because If The Fall?

Daughter is 9 months old and fell off bed onto carpeted floor 2 days ago and hit front head. She had seemed to be fine after initial jolt of fall but very cranky recently, although she is a cranky baby to begin with and last night and tonight she had felt very warm to me, feverish. Not sure If fever because thermometer went missing. h mWondering if coming down with something or if from fall and get checked out.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear,
Usually falls will not cause fever unless there is a bruise or open wound which can get inflammed or infected. Your daughter is probably suffering from an infection which may not be related to the fall. Just try paracetamol (tylenol). If problem persists then take her to pediatrician.

Take care
