Have Fever, Vomiting, Prolonged Hiccups. Taken Injections. Liver Problem?

Hello doctor from yesterday night my father suddenly had fever at around 10 .30 after that he started vomiting suddenly until today evening he was vomiting ...tgen suddenly hiccups started which were not ending . Our family doctor gave him two Injections after which he is still now sleeping ....by the above symptomps we all think he has some liver problem can U plz suggest

DOES HE SMOKE OR IS HE AN ALCOHOLIC ADDICT???

USUALLY HICCUPS ARE CAUSED DUE TO UNRESTED DIAPHRAGMATIC CONTRACTIONS OR ESOPHAGEAL SPASMS. UNLIKELY IT IS DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH THE LIVER.

IF YOU HAVE TAKEN TABLET CHLORPRAMAZINE AND STILL YOU ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM THEN YOU NEED TO CONSULT AN GASTROENTEROLOGIST, SOME TIMES HYPERACIDITY ALSO CAUSE THESE KIND OF SYMTOMS.

SINCE HE IS ALSO HAVING COMPLAINTS OF VOMITTING IT IS CLEAR THAT HE IS HAVING PROBLEMS IN THE GASTRO INTESTINAL TRACT.

FOLLOWING INVESTIGATIONS ARE NEEDED
1. UPPER GI ENDOSCOPY
2. LIVER FUNCTION TESTS TO RULE OUT ANY LIVER DISEASE.
