Have Foul Smelling, Loss Of Blood. TVS And Ultrasound Test Done. Took Prempak C. What To Do?

I am post menopausal (many years). I have had one foul smelling loss of blood six weeks ago, and have since seen my GP. TVS and ultrasound scan done 2 weeks ago. Is this blood loss concerning? I have a known large fibroid. I am 81 and my menopause occurred at 53. I am 5ft 3in and 9st.6lbs. I took Prempak C for 11 years between age 56 and 67.

Hello,
Bleeding after several years of menopause is definitely a bad sign. You need to get the results of the ultrasound to check your endometrial lining thickness. It will help to rule out endometrial cancer. Also a pap smear needs to be done. Unjudicious use to estrogen may be a risk factor.
