Hello I have a pain in my left groin area under the pubic hair (sorry!). It feels like a pulled muscle but it is 'surging' slightly. I had a small polyp removed a couple of years ago and had thick endometrial layer but a biopsy was negative. Am just worried that there is something serious going on inside. No abnormal bleeding and last smear was clear. Any advice please? Caroline
Pain in groin area could be due to infection of hair follicle, enlarged lymph node etc. In case pain is associated with vaginal discharge then possibility of infection of reproductive tract is more likely. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
