Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I have gone through your query and from your presentation of a pinkish discharge (which is either present in the first few or last few days of a period, or in case of an infection), coupled with painful intercourse,
frequent urination, burning sensation, etc; it does indicate the presence of an infection. But of course, this will have to be confirmed with a laboratory analysis.
Although not serious, I would recommend a urine analysis, which shall rule out or confirm the infection. If an infection is indeed confirmed, then you would be advised antibiotic therapy, pain management medication and a urine alkalizer.
But, if an infection is ruled out, we can attribute your symptoms partly to your ending period and then to the less lubricated vagina, that resulted in friction wounds within your vagina. In such a scenario, we will have to find the cause for the dryness, and accordingly treat it.
In the meantime, abstain from sexual intercourse till your doctor deems it safe. And use a sterile lubricant during intercourse hereafter.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
