Have Gone Through HSG, Tubes Show Restricted Fill, Blocked, Terminal Hydrosalpinx, Cavity Enlarged. Can Conceive?
i am 32 years and has gone through HSG few day back. my report says the my right tube shows restricted fill, terminal hydrosalpinx and restricted sill of dye and left tube if blocked at cornua. uterus is normal in size. cavity enlarged, fills uniformly with no filling defect. is there any chance that i acn conceive.please suggest any opinion
In this present age that we live in, there is a possibility of conception.
The restricted fill on the right side would indicate that there is some level of obstruction on the right side in addition to the blockage on the left. Hydrosalpinx is obstruction of the distal aspect of the tube ,that is the part that is further from the center of the uterus.
Tubal reconstruction can be done to repair the fallopian tube.
In the event that this is not effective , assisted reproduction with techniques such as IVF can be used.
I hope this helps
