Have Had Chickenpox, Blisters. Prescribed Zinkolie Cream. Is Rubbing Alcohol An Equally Good Solution?
I've had chicken pox 4 days ago. Went to my doctor and was prescribed with Zinkolie cream to be applied on the blisters and was advised not to take a bath. But until now, no blisters have scabbed. The cream is water resistant. Should I remove the cream? If so, can I use rubbing alcohol using a cotton ball since water alone cannot do the trick? Thank you!
Hi blisters subside in chickenpox .no need to wipe them out.use of antiviral zovirax oral .antibiotic twice daily.anti inflammatory agent twice daily and application of calamine lotion as a soothening agent can treat chickenpox.post inflammatory scarring can be cured by hexilak silicone gel in the night and evion cream in the morning
