Have Hair Loss And Hair Thinning. No Dandruff Or Itching. History Of Depression. Cure?

m 28yr old female, single, from india. complaining of too much hair loss , hair thinning, more over front part since more than a year. no dandruff , no itching, f/h/o father is alopecia . history of depression regarding higher education, not eating properly due to loss of appettite, no any investigations done. gud sleep and atmosphere.

Hi there, thanks for asking. If you have never done any investigation and you have hair loss, hair thinning, loss of appetite and etc, you should do some tests. First the doctor should see if you have anemia. anemia can cause hair loss and low energy level and also depression. The doctor should also check for thyroid function test. change in hair texture and change in appetite and some other symptoms happen frequently in low functioning or high functioning thyroid. Overall you need to tell your doctor to assess completely what is going on. Best wishes.
