Have Headache, Dizziness And Feeling Sick. Just Gave Birth To Child. Is This Normal After Pregnancy?

Hi, I know it hasn't been long but I gave birth 1 week ago and ever since I have been suffering with headaches, dizziness and feeling sick. I also haven't had much of an appetite since I give birth but I do still eat and I also feel as If I have extreme pressure down below as if I am still carrying a baby. I have also experienced some stomach pain to. Is all of this normal after pregnancy?

Hi,
It looks like you are experiencing the after-pains, that happen after the delivery as the uterus starts regressing. The dizziness and other symptoms could be due to the general weakness as you recover from the labor and also start caring for the baby. You should consult your specialist for a post-natal checkup after another week; you would need nutritional supplements and an antispasmodic to relieve the pains. Have plenty of fluids. Wish you good health.
