Have Headache, Stomach Sickness, Sore Throat And Lost My Voice Completely. Should I Go To Emergency Room?
I am a 57 year old male with some medical problems. Do I need care. I started out with a sore throat on Fri. Lost my voice completely and I have a horrible stomach sickness plus a headache that outshines a migraine by ten fold. Its bad. I had septice once that almost killed me. Should I go to the Emerg. room or acute care?
Sore throat is most commonly caused by bacteria and viruses. I suggest you try salt water gargles to relive the pain in throat. You can take over the counter pain killers for the headache. Stomach sickness is suggestive of stomach flu. Get in touch with your GP for a prescription of antibiotics to control the infection in throat. Take fluid diet. Drink warm water. Thanks.
