Have Heaviness In The Chest, Shortness Of Breath And Occasional Biting Sensation
Hi, am a 23 year old female.. Having heaviness of the chest with shortness of breath and ocassonal biting sensation.. It affects my sleeping pattern. Light headed on mild exertion or when I stand for more than 30 minutes.. Did a resting n treadmill ecg and my doctor said I have sinus tachycardia. Is my heart ok?
Hello Thanks for your query. Having heaviness of the chest and shortness of breath is indicative of something in your lung, may be fluid which is known as pleural effusion which you need to exclude by undergoing a chest x-ray. ECG should ideally be done and if it is normal then you can also go for treadmill testing. Consult your doctor and discuss these issues. Thank you. Regards, Dr Arnab Maji
