Have Herpes. Is There Medication For Permanent Cure?

ONCE U HAVE HERPES, DOES IT MEAN I WILL ALWAYS BE A CARRIER OF IT?
THIS IS THE MOST EMBARASSING THING I HAVE EVER GONE THROUGH AND DONT KNOW ANYTHING'
ABOUT THE STD AT ALL.
IS THERE MEDICATION TO KEEP IT AWAY AND NOT TELL ANY PARTNERS IN THE FUTURE?

HOW CAN I LIVE THIS WAY? THIS IS SO PRIVATE AND NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD HAPPEN TO ME...

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Once you have herpes, yes, the unfortunate fact is that you will always be a carrier.
Even if you are asymptomatic and never have a single outbreak, you always will be a potential source of transmitting the infection to your partners.
There are medications to treat outbreaks, there is no ' cure '.
It would be ethically and legally a crime not to disclose this to your sexual partners, and thus infect them while keeping them in the dark.
I know this is a difficult fact to face, but it is the fact, and cannot change.
wish you all the best and a loving and understanding partner.
Take care.
