Have Intense Pressure Im Head, Behind Eyes. Have Fever, Sinuses. Did Steam Inhalation. Sinus? Problem?
I had been suffering from intense pressure in my head and behind eyes - no pain- and wooziness/unsteadiness from oct 12 through to dec 12 then developed low grade fever and blocked up feeling in sinuses. I took 100 mg doxycycline for 7 days and it helped a little in asking the pressure away.
Then the pressure behind eyes and in middle of head started again in feb 13 got very intense and I kept doing nasal causing with neti pot and steam Inhalation. Then went to see doctor in may 13 he prescribed 200mg doxycycline daily for 15 days and said it as sinus infection in frontal and possibly ethmoid sinuses. Took for 10 days then felt fever come on strongly and gastric probems so discontinued.
Now pressure in head is much less but at times pressure behind both eyes is so intense...comes on suddenly....and makes me feel dizzy.
Is this sinus related or could it be problem with eyes?

Hi, You might be suffering from frontal sinusitis. You need to take proper antibiotics for apprapriate period. Along with that You can take nasal decongestants, analgesics and a multivitamin. And take antacids if the drugs are causing acidity. And steam inhalation is definitely going to help. See your ENT surgeon if it continues.
