Have Intermittent Urinary Retention, Cramping In Pelvic Area And Lower Back. History Of Preeclampsia

The past 2 days I have had intermittent urinary retention, today I had cramping in my pelvic area as well as my low back. Pretty aches. I am also 11 weeks pregnant. I went in and had a urine dip test. It showed heavy gravity and 2+ blood. No sign of infection. They sent my urine for culture. What could this be? My last pregnancy I developed severe preeclampsia and delivered early.

Hi,
Looking at your past history of severe preeclapsia , You must be at a continuous vigilance all these 9 months.BP check ups, urine problems ,swelling on legs, urine proteins are to be observed/ consulted for, regularly.A regular pregnancy check ups & strict obediece will help.
I would advice to get urine culture & sensitivity done.& seek expert Gynac advice at this stage.
thanks
