I am 15 and have a lighter patch on my areola at the bottom kind of shaped like a medium length horizontal oval stretched out.i have had this for a while now and it does not cause me any pain or discomfort.i also have a small white circle on my face on my cheek also that stands out a bit because I am mixed race.what can this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi i think it is pityriasis versicolor or p.alba or early vitiligo.lighter color indicates it is pityriasis versicolor rather than vitiligo where it is milky white color.it can be cured by flucanazole 150 mg weekly once for 4-6 weeks and application of nizral cream twice daily and application of candid tv shampoo 15 min before bath on the lesions can cure it
