Have Lower Back Pain Extending To Hips, Groin, Pelvis And Thighs. What Could Be The Cause?
hi, Pain in the lower back area reaching around the hips into the groin, pelvis, inner thighs. Kind of like the saddle area. Pain extends to mid-back and feels like cramping. Also, will run down along taint area. Occasional pain in rectum area when urinating.

Hello, Thanks for your query. It is the result of the extensive network of interconnecting sensory nerves that supply many of the tissues of the low back, pelvis and thigh. Treatment of referred low back pain is non-surgical and may include one or a combination of the following: A short period of rest (e.g. one or two days) Physical therapy, active exercise and stretching Ice packs and/or hot pads Appropriate medications for pain relief I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
