Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

The choice of treatment of spinal metastasis depends on the type of cancer, area of the spine involved and your general fitness. It could be Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy or surgery.

If the compressive element of the spine is significant with instability and causing a neurological compromise, then a decompressive surgery is indicated.

So you may need a multimodal management protocol.

Consult an spine surgeon / oncologist for further workup and management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
