Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such symptoms do indicate urinary bladder infection or stones. During the night, when urinary tract less often washed with urine (urine flow prevents bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract walls) bacteria are able to grow so the first urine in the morning gives you pain.
Other symptoms you may also have are lower abdominal pain, fever, more frequent urinating.

You should have urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound (to see if there is no urine flow impede). To keep your urinary tract healthy try to increase mineral water intake, get cranberry supplements.

Hope this will help.
Regards.

General & Family Physician Dr. Shoaib Khan's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

From your presentation, you could be suffering from some disorder of the renal system, or specifically of the bladder. As your presentation is mostly related to the bladder and the influence of surrounding structures on it, a bladder abnormality is more likely. Let me first assist you by listing some of the most common conditions that could be causing your presentation. They are:
-Urinary tract infection (UTI): will also present with any of the following symptoms like frequent urination, burning while urinating, increased urge to urinate but less amount of urine passed, fever, chills, itching around genitals, etc.
-Bladder infection: similar symptoms as that of a UTI
-Interstitial cystitis: painful urination, increased frequency of urination, painful sexual intercourse, etc.
-Stones in the renal system
-Tumors/growths or cancers of the bladder

Please visit your doctor for a physical examination, followed by investigation of your urine and even an ultrasound of the pelvis if required. I am sure we will be able to find the cause for your complaints, and accordingly relieve you of your trouble permanently in no time.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
