Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
What is your son's age? majority of times nose bleed can be due to intake of asprin. Majority of patients with diseases related to heart tend to have nose due to altered hemodynamics due to intake of various medications.
Please get these tests done to know the exact cause of nose bleed: Platelet count, Bleeding and clotting time, PT and APTT. Please show the results to your doctor to stop or start medications. Cauterising the nose is just a step in the management.
