Have Osteoarthritis And Need Knee Replacement But Had Bypass. Angiogram For Chest Pain Showed Blockage, On Medicine. Advise?

I have osteoarthritis and need complete knee replacement but have had a quad bypass 7 years ago and recently had an angiogram because of chest pains and was informed that I had a blockage and for some reason a stent would have blocked the blood flow to the heart so am being treated with tablets to widen the artery. have been informed that having surgery would be a very great risk. is there any treatment that would ease the pain in knee which is quite bad.

Cardiologist 's  Response

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You need to address the heart before other issues. Very likely, you need to repeat angiogram / You may need bypass surgery... Consult your cardiologist...
Physiotherapy / Over The Counter (OTC) Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) / muscle relaxants / anxiolytics will be useful – for the pain... but they are all symptomatic...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
