hello...I am 55 years old and scheduled for an abdominal hysterectomy on Monday. I have an ovarian cyst that measures about 13cm by 11cm by 18cm. The doctor feels confident it is benign. I did not seek a second opinion due to the fact that my primary physician highly recommended the doctor doing the surgery and agrees with his decision. He has also been used by several acquaintance and all had nothing but good to say about him. As surgery is getting closer, of course I am getting anxious and hoping I agreed to the right decision.
