Have Pain From Shoulder To Elbow. Had Ultrasound And Mammogram On Breast. What Could Be The Reason?

I have pain below my shoulder blades and my left armpit burns and pain runs down my left arm from my should to my elbow and now at elbow there is swelling. I just had an ultra sound and mammogram on my left breast and found I need a biopsy. would like to know if the breast issue is causing the arm pain and for the last 13 weeks I can't get rid of the sore throat and have been give antibiatics and steroids still have the throat issue. armpit really burns and when I reach my left are hurts

Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. The breast mass which has been picked up on a mammogram could be a cause of the arm pain and the burning sensation in the armpit. It is best that you have it biopsied immediately and review with a breast surgeon following that.
Another cause of this pain could be your persistent sore throat, which can be associated with chest pain as well. You should have it evaluated by a pulmonologist as well.
