Hello,

Since you have history of diabetes, you are suggested to control your blood glucose levels with the help of medicine as well a s a well balanced diet. Diabetes may trigger infection of any kind. Presently you are suffering from itchy rashes underpants, spine, underarm and top of the foot. It looks like the infection is spreading. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene, take regular showers and wash your clothes with warm water frequently.

Avoid sex for a couple of days while you are being treated. Wear cotton clothes that are loose fitting. You can take a course of anti-fungals (Fluconazole) orally. Apply ointment hydrocortisone on the affected areas to ease the itching. Clotrimazole cream or gel is also effective. Cold compress may help. You are suggested to keep your private area, underarms and foot clean and dry. Fungal infection spreads in warm moist areas. Change your clothes if you sweat & take showers.

If the infection is chronic it may take some time to go. You can consult a dermatologist so that you can have a skin test done to rule out any other pathology. If sexually active, the dermatologist may tell you to do STD tests to help you stay on the safer side.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
