Have Pain In Left Hip, Thigh, Knee, Ankle, Foot. What Medications Are Used To Treat This Problem?
I have pain in my left hip down to the left side of my upper left thigh to my knee then down the left side of my lower leg to my left ankle then to my bottom of my foot! My pain as of this time is like it is inflamed in my left hip and starts as a striking force evey 29 to 30 min. I have been in the hospital on May 24-25-2013 when the part of my body above had turned black in my left foot up to my left knee. What Medications are used to treat this problem? More detail to give to you if needed.--
Good evening. As per the available history i suspect u might have a problem with ur lumbar spine(low back). Getting pain in most of the lower limb could be because of radiating pain which could be because of sciatica left. Which is due to sciatic nerve getting compressed between vertebaor could be due to disc prolapse or degeneration. lf u could tell me what type of pain. how pain behaves on work. sciatic pain is of pricking or burning or vague to severe pain which increases on work decreases on rest by lying supine on firm surface. In severe cases there will be numbness and weakness of foot and toes. mainly great toe. my advice is never do a heavy work bending lifting objects. Aviod long travelling. until u are comfortable lie supine on firm surface. u can start analgesics with muscle relaxants like aceclofenac with thialcoside. pregabalin 75 mg + methylcobalamin 1500 mcg daily once. you can go for physiotherapy traction. if possible u can go forflexion and extension x rays and mri for furthet evaluation. but rest is main treatment.
