Have Pain In Skin In Tailbone Area. Pain Is Intense On Touching. Cure?
I am having constant acute pain in the skin in the tailbone area. At first, I thought it was a rash , but it has not subsided despite putting on different types of rash medicine. I also feel a skin growth on one buttock near the tailbone which was not there. The pain is acute and more intense if I touch it. It feels as if hot pepper had been applied to the skin

Hello, I think you would be having herpes zoster. Cosult dermatologist immediately. There are very effective drugs for relief. Acyclovir, steroids in tapering dose, pain killers will be given if it is herpes zoster. Thanks... Best wishes.
