Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain and lump is likely to be due to a soft tissue injury in the area that has caused a hematoma formation. This usually subsides in 2-3 weeks on rest and doing a cold compress. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. It is very unusual to have pain at the site of one year old injury. The feeling of a lump at the site of injury could be a Hematoma which might have organised producing a hard consistency. It might be causing pressure over the adjacent soft tissues causing pain. I suggest you to undergo an MRI scan, which will show up all the soft tissue lesions. Hope this helps
