Have Pain On Stomach, Soft Stools, Felt Unwell. Took Panadol, Imodium. Use Powerful Painkiller?

Yesterday I spent the afternoon gardening i.e. pulling weeds and applying compost to the garden. The bags were 40ks. This morning I woke to quite severe pain on the r side of my stomach. I felt unwell and took 2 panadol. There has been no improvement during the day and I still have the pain tonight. Stools have been soft but not runny and although I felt sick a couple of times during the day I have not vomited. At my wifes suggestion I took 2 Imodium capsules two and a half hours ago without any relief. Should I take a more pwerful paikiller suchy as Nurofen?

Hello.Ibuprofen is not the most appropriate painkiller for abdominal pain.
I treat my patients with a drug whose components are Acetaminophen 650mg + Codeine 30 mg thrice a day when abdominal pain with diarrhea is the diagnosis. Please,go to your doctor to be examined and for prescription.
I wish you good health.
