Have Palpitations, ECG Showed Arrythmia, Irregular Periods. Reason For Palpitation?
I m 25 year old female(unmarried),working as a staff nurse.i m having palpitations,&there was pausing of heart beat in between..i took 1 ECG &there was arrythmia .my periods are irregular & prolonged, i did my thyroi function test,Ca& Mg.All are normal.. so.. what might be the reason for palpitation..? what life style changes i should made for that?Please give me an advice..

I read your mail in detail. The symptoms you have presented are more likely to be AF (Atrial Fibrillation) as you present with palpitations and arrythmia. This is caused due to defect in the conduction system of the heart. It can be treated by beta blockers or calcium channel blockers as advised by your doctor.
No specific life style changes are needed for this but you have to take care while driving or doing some risk work as the episode might hurt you.
Consult your doctor and get to a diagnosis and start treatment soon.
