Have Pinched Nerve In Back Causing Pain In Knee Shooting Down Leg. Prescribed Gabapentin But No Help. Suggest?
My doctor thinks I have a pinched nerve in my back, and it is causing my nerves to visibly jump in my legs and I have dibilating pain in my left knee that aches and shoots pain down my leg. He prescribed gabapentin 200 mg but it is not taking away any pain. Is there something I should ask if I can take with the gabapentin or can I up the gabapentin dosage?
Hi, From history it appears that you might be having sciatica pain. Continue with gabapentine with same dose. Physiotherapy will give you more relief. Go for back extension exercise daily and regularly. Ok and take care.
